Following all the unhappiness at the end of 2005....we ended up, on new years eve/day.... deciding the date and place to get married.....after 6 years......talk about a new years resolution!!!
Date: 20th June 2006......why then???? I'd like to come up with a really emotional reason...but basically....20/06/2006...get it now?;)Explanation didn't make sense to our american friends
Place: Vegas Baby......essentially to minimise the whole mother/father/family minefield....plus it is the sort of completely wacky...totally cheezy....barmy thing that my mother would have loved......Rob chose the little white chapel (after all if your going to be cheezy might as well go for the poster vegas chapel).....I want to stay in a pyramid....and I vetoed Elvis....there is a limit

I was chatting to someone about things going wrong during commissioning and remembered about the blog I kept a while ago ........ finally remembered the name and address of the blog....also remembered why I stopped doing it......
Everything got a bit much around then.....not quite sure how we have made it through......but pleased to report still alive and kicking (just).
Almost 2 years have gone by....so coming up is a quick catchup guide to the ups and downs in the weird and wobbly Tracy World....

...no it is .... it really is....not going to say too much but I don't think things have ever been quite as bad as they have been recently.....
To summarise......
Scottish project is finished....well at least my part in it ...no more trips to Scotland
I have done some things I'm not proud of ....in fact I suppose you can say I have been a completely selfish bitch
Rob is not well
Somehow I managed to lose sight of the important things in my life.....lost all sense of perspective..... not helped by a certain two faced evil....insert preferred insult here.....person....
All in all what a complete and total f*ck up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

...well you can't...not glycol any rate....... the mechanical guys forgot to include vent valves in their arrangement....so the glycol can't flow through the system and cool stuff.....
We have worked out we need 40 vent valves...which means the system has to be drained down and 40 extra valves welded in.......
You can't make it up!!!!! |

It's been a long time since I had chance to make an entry....but this one was so annoying I had to record it for posterity......
Our electrical guys were responsible for carrying out checks on their equipment to make sure it was safe to operate...when the client did spot checks...they found that there were major defects and have stopped us from using the electrical equipment until they have finished their inspection ......grrrrrrrr |

We've just found out that our control system company is at risk of closure!!!!! THey have been told that they're not accepting any more orders! Talk about somthing coming out of the blue!!!!!!! We've got to hope that it doesn't happen before the end of this project! |

We had a card from Royal Mail today..saying that something that was being sent here had too little postage paid on it and therefore we would have to pick it up and pay the extra........£1.05...but when you look at the small print, it says that the above amount includes a £1.00 handling fee.....so they charged us £1.05 for something that was only £0.05 out *and* we have to go pick it up!!! RObbing B****rds!!!! |

Yay...we are going to get another engineer for when Johnathan leaves!!!! My programme still works...touch wood...through salt over your shoulder...and any other superstitious things.
I go home soon:):):) I can't wait!!!! and I get to pick my car up tomorrow *YAY* |

Well I *was* feeling pleased with myself but then I remembered...Johnathan is leaving us to get married first week of october.....what kind of excuse is that???????? We suggested that he could just stop off at Gretna Green but he didn't really like that idea!
So now I have a great programme but am 1 person short!!!!
and I still have the headache that I have had all day!! |
